I'm hoping to gain a further understanding of who God is and how He works. I am having a hard time "feeling" him right now and hopefully, through this, He'll let me know He's still there.

Through this study I hope to gain a better relationship with Christ and to truly feel His presence and unforsaking love for me. I also am striving to have a better understanding of my life and life path.

I am hoping to learn more about God and what He wants to do with me. I'm looking forward to seeing how God shows up in my ordinary life and uses me for His glory. I want to matter in life but more than that, to glorify Christ.

I love being a stay-at-home mom but sometimes worry that I am not able to serve as much as I need to. I hope to continue to grow in spirit and knowledge of God thru Esther so that I can continue to serve in the mission field that I feel God has placed me-my home.

My deepest desire is to fashion a home where the Lord's ways simply pour out of His Word and into the hearts of my entire family. I hope that this study teaches me how to fulfill my ultimate destiny of creating a heritage of Christ for many generations, even during the mundane tasks while being a stay-at-home mama!

I just want to know Him more and believe that being with women in a Bible study is a decpline that I need and desire. Also like meeting and being with other women, especially thos so much younger than myself, to learn from and to hopefully share the faithfulness of God in my life these past 67 years. God is faithful and I just want to know Him more. Kinda sounds like a song I know. LOL Thanks Macki for being faithful to Him and leading this study. I commit to pray for you daily and look forwarfd to being with you. You have such a heart for God.

In one simple word....connection. It is so true that you never really realize what you have until you lose it. In Madison, my whole world was comprised of strong Christian men and women who offered such a sense of stability and love. Their wisdom, guidance, and true love for us is missed terribly. Since our move, I long for Christian companionship and friends who share in the same values as our family. In addition to this kinda physical connection, I also hope to connect with God on a more spiritual level. Tiffany

I am ready for more in-depth Bible study. I know a lot of basics from Bible stories, but now I want to gain more understanding. I want to be prepared to be a witness for Christ, and I feel like this is one of the best ways I know of how I can do my part to be ready when needed. I also have missed my church family since moving and I need to make more connections and get beyond the acquaintance stage with our new church family.

From this Bible study I'm hoping to be able to grasp a better understanding of who God is. Also, to continue to build my faith that God has a plan for me and that even though it is sometimes difficult we must be patient.
